Legal
Partner and acceptable-use policy
Last updated .
This policy applies to every traffic and commercial partner working with Anaximander Group. It sits alongside, and does not replace, the individual agreement between us and that partner. Where the two differ, the signed agreement governs.
Traffic standards
Partners must deliver traffic that is:
- generated by real people taking a genuine action;
- acquired lawfully in the territory it comes from;
- consistent with the targeting, volume and quality terms agreed in writing before delivery started;
- free of any incentive, misrepresentation or forced redirection.
What is not acceptable
- automated, generated, emulated or otherwise non-human traffic;
- traffic acquired through malware, extensions or software installed without consent;
- deliberate misrepresentation of the source, geography or device of traffic;
- traffic from a source the partner has been told in writing to stop using;
- any activity that would put us, an advertising counterparty, or a payment provider in breach of law or of their own terms.
Measurement and adjustments
Billable volume is determined by our own first-party measurement, using the metric definitions published inside the partner platform. Those definitions state exactly what a session, an accepted visit and a billable visit mean, and they are the reference point for both sides.
Traffic identified as duplicate, invalid or outside agreed targeting is adjusted out. Every adjustment records who made it, when, and the reason, and that history stays visible to the partner in their account. We do not make silent retrospective changes.
Reconciliation and disputes
Where a partner’s own count differs from ours, both figures and the capture rate between them are shown in the platform. A partner who disputes a figure should raise it through their account contact within 30 days of the end of the period concerned. We will provide the underlying breakdown for the period in question.
Payment
Payment is made against the reconciled amount for a closed period, on the terms and in the currency set out in the partner agreement. Invoice status, payment reference and payment date are visible in the platform.
Account security
Partner accounts are personal to the named user. Credentials must not be shared, and a partner must tell us immediately if an account may have been compromised. All access and every export are logged.
Suspension
We may suspend delivery or an account where we reasonably believe this policy has been breached, and will explain why. Persistent or deliberate breach is grounds for termination under the partner agreement.
