Abuse and compliance
Last updated .
We take reports about anything we operate seriously, and we would rather hear about a problem early. This page explains where to send a report and what happens to it.
Where to send a report
abuse@anaximander.com is monitored and is the correct route for:
- a complaint about content or conduct on a service we operate;
- a report of misuse of our infrastructure or of a partner account;
- an intellectual property or other rights notice;
- a data protection concern, which is also handled by our privacy contact;
- correspondence from a regulator or law enforcement.
Formal legal notices may also be served at our registered office: 20 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU, United Kingdom.
What to include
So we can act quickly, please tell us what the material or conduct is and where exactly it is, why you believe it is unlawful or in breach of our policies, what outcome you are asking for, and how to reach you. If you are asserting a right, please say what that right is and on what basis you hold it.
What happens next
- We acknowledge reports, normally within two working days.
- We assess the report against the law and our own policies, and we may ask you for more information.
- Where a report is upheld we act, which may mean removing material, changing a configuration, or suspending an account or a partner.
- We tell you the outcome.
- Every report and the action taken on it is logged.
Urgent matters
If a report concerns an immediate risk to a person, or material that is unlawful on its face, mark the subject line URGENT. Reports of that kind are escalated ahead of the ordinary queue.
